The Solfeggio Frequencies Explained · A Beginner's Map

The tones commonly called Solfeggio frequencies are used in modern spiritual listening practices. Their associations with love, change, or expression are symbolic; they do not establish a specific effect in the body.

Where they come from

The modern frequency system was popularized in the late twentieth century. Its connection to ancient chant and exact historical tuning is not established. It is useful to separate a contemporary spiritual interpretation from a historical or scientific claim.

The map

  • 174 Hz · Foundationa symbolic invitation to pause
  • 285 Hz · Becominga listening companion for reflecting on change
  • 396 Hz · Liberationa symbolic theme of letting go
  • 417 Hz · Transmutationa contemplative theme of beginning again
  • 528 Hz · Lovea devotional association with love
  • 639 Hz · Connectiona prompt to reflect on connection
  • 741 Hz · Voicea symbolic invitation to expression
  • 852 Hz · Visiona theme of inward listening
  • 963 Hz · Crowna contemplative association with spiritual connection

528 Hz — the most famous of them

528 Hz is often called the love frequency in contemporary spiritual practice. At Soul in Love, that is poetic language. Listen if you enjoy it; no special biological effect is promised.

How to use them

Forget the schedule. Forget the playlist that promises 'manifest abundance in 12 minutes'. Walk yourself softly through the nine tones. Notice which one your body reaches for today. That is the one your system is asking for. No-one else can pick it for you.
